This work is depicting Lord Ganesha in an unusual form, where he is giving a glimpse of a tiger…..the symbol of strength. Lord Ganesha forever has been Shivaputra, siddhivinayak n the giver of knowledge and success. Though there are innumerable instances in the Indian mythological history where we get to witness Him as Maha Ganapati, who fought n won several wars for good, Yet, the colour of chivalry is more or less missing in the impressions that we carry of the deity. Hence the look of a Tiger blended liberally with Ganesha here stands to be an apt tribute to the Shakti Ganesha.
